Heather Marie Wells Headshot

Heather Marie Wells's career has spanned over 20 years in museums.

Currently she works at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. Prior to that, she worked at the University of Arkansas Museum and the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History, where she worked in collections, cataloging and preserving artifacts. Her work has won several awards from the Arkansas Museums Association, the Southeastern Museums Conference, and the American Alliance of Museums, including SEMC’s Emerging Professional of the Year (2008) and AMA’s Professional Staff of the Year (2013). Currently Heather Marie serves as Past President of the Southeastern Museums Association and Past President of the Arkansas Museums Association. She is a 2010 graduate of the Jekyll Island Management Institute for museums and earned her BA and MA in anthropology from the University of Arkansas.
