Inspecting an heirloom Santa suit

So this week, I’m changing things up a little. I’ve made a video showing how I inspect a family heirloom textile that has been boxed and in storage.

This particular heirloom is my Grandfather’s Santa Claus suit. My supplies are a cotton drop cloth, buffered acid-free tissue paper and the boxed suit. Textiles should be refolded at least annually if not semi-annually to help remove the stress of the fold on the fibers. The tissue paper should be used to support where the folds are to help lessen the severity.
